ANDREW JACKSON JIHAD IS AMAZING!

Ok, I'm gonna be a complete fanboy right now, BUT HOLY SHIT!!! I LOVE ANDREW JACKSON JIHAD! They are one of my favorite bands, and I just went and saw them live for the first time :D I also found $60 on the floor, and went and bought some awesome merch! The other dude I saw, 

Into It. Over It. was really cool too, and I got some stuff from him too.

At the very beginning, playing I think People II.

I don't remember at all @__@

CANVAS STRETCHING IS EASY. 

No seriously folks, I just stretched my first two canvases today, and I do not understand why people complain about it. I also built the stretcher bars from scrap wood from MICA's wood shop. Tons 'o fun to work on a machine again. Oh how I miss stage crew.

Buying stretcher bars? Oh girrrrrrl 'ell no!

Painting and Coffee

Tonight/this morning, I had my very first glass, cup, mug of coffee. all just so i could stay awake to finish my painting homework which is due at 8:30am. Here is the first part of the work that is due.

I still have to finish painting a  grey-scale still life, then figure out how to glaze colors on top of it. AND have it dry for class... I think I will be blow-drying a lot tonight. I only hope my hair dryer lasts.

Back to Watercolors

So I getting back into the swing of using my watercolors, in this brand new sketch book that I didn't make (sadly) which has really nice watercolor paper, and is bound pretty well, and I love it!

Here is what I have done so far~

...another just took off her shirt and bra...

Adventure in the Woods

So, my Sculpture teacher assigned our class some really strange homework over the past week. We had to go and find the elusive "Fells Waterfall."

Before I set out, I stopped by Sofi's Crepes, the BEST fast food place in town (that I know of so far)

I had to walk along a looooong road, where I came across this old trucking/cement/ crane place that had the same name as one of my friends.

After about 2 miles of walking through really scary places along a really sketchy road, I came to this split in the path.

And found the waterfall.

It had a viewing platform and everything.

On my way home, I stopped by an old rail station, with lots of broken stuff.

And more stuff.

I also had to deal with the storm drains bursting, and a lot of them had been broken by the force of it.

I also tried my hand at Hitch Hiking, but no one stopped picked me up, and the kind UPS guy told me he would but it was against regulation for him to. Also I passed a woman being taken away in an ambulance who was tripping something nasty at the poor house.

And today I had class, and we made tool boxes. w00t
